What founding means.

The quote is the most important thing you do all week, and most shops are doing it in a text message.

SnapTip is built around that moment. Not a customer database with a quote bolted on: the whole app is organized around the proposal. Real vehicle-specific pricing, film options side by side, per-zone prices, and a link the customer actually understands. Then it carries that job the rest of the way: booked, done, invoiced, paid.

I've run a mobile tint business, run single-location shops, managed the tint program for a chain, and designed and managed the systems that kept window tint working across eight locations. Eight locations teaches you fast that you can't be in any of them, so every system I build does one job: it lets people communicate without talking to each other. The price list tells the new hire what the car costs, the schedule tells the installer what their day is, the numbers tell you how the week went, and nobody has to find you to ask. Plenty of shop apps are built by a tinter. Most of them are built for one head.

SnapTip is built so the shop keeps moving while you're in the back seat with the liner off. That's why back glass breaks out on its own, why removal is its own line, and why the price list is laid out the way you already think about it, just written down where your crew can quote from it.

I'm opening 25 founding spots, counted by location, not by shop. If you run three locations, bring all three in now and all three lock at the founding rate. Once the 25 are gone, they're gone, and any location added after that pays the going rate.

Here's exactly what that means.

What you get.

Everything in the app. There are no tiers right now: one product, one price, all of it.

  • Vehicle-specific pricing.

Per-film, per-zone price lists, with modifiers for the vehicles that are actually a pain.

  • Proposals.

Film options side by side, per-zone pricing, the customer accepts online.

  • Online scheduling.

The customer books off the accepted proposal, onto your own Google or iPhone calendar.

  • Invoicing and payments.

Your own Stripe account, including the card-present terminal, with tips on the receipt.

  • Jobs.

Automotive jobs with photos, notes, and who did what.

  • Inventory.

Film by SKU, VLT and width, with purchase orders and vendor pricing.

  • Lead forms.

Embed on your site, QR codes, and tracking that shows which form brought the money in.

  • Reports.

Weekly numbers, the funnel from lead to paid, campaign ROI, revenue goals.

  • Your crew.

Every installer and front-desk person, with roles for who sees what, across every location.

Four things worth more.

Not a bigger bundle.

  1. Your rate is locked.

Whatever you pay today, you pay for as long as you stay. When the price goes up, and it will, you don't move.

  2. A direct line to me.

My phone, not a ticket queue. Founding shops tell me what to build next, and I build it.

  3. Your shop in the launch story.

Named as one of the shops that built this.

  4. The industry index, free, forever.

Average tickets, film share, close rates, what tint actually sells for by region. You get it first.

Straight talk on two things.

There will be a free version later. Once I can onboard shops without doing it by hand, a free tier shows up underneath what you have. It'll be less than what you're getting, and your locked rate will sit below whatever the paid price is by then. I'd rather tell you now than have you find out.

I'm building an industry data set, and you're part of it. Aggregate only, never a number built from fewer than five shops. No one ever sees your shop named. Your customers' information never leaves your account. Your data is yours: export it, cancel any time, take it with you.

  • Aggregate only. Never a cell built from fewer than five shops, or from one shop dominating it.
  • No one ever sees your shop named. Not manufacturers, not other shops.
  • Your customers' information never leaves your account. What aggregates is facts about jobs and prices, never facts about people.
  • Your data is yours. Export it any time, cancel any time, take it with you.
  • If privacy law requires more than this, the law wins. We'll change how we do it to follow the law wherever it applies, and you'll get notice before anything changes.

The cost.

$79/month per location, locked for life.

No setup fee, no contract, cancel any time. The price goes to $150 when the founding spots are gone. You stay at $79.

One shop, one price: a one-bay shop and a thirteen-bay shop pay the same. You pay again only if you open a second address, and founders pay $79 for those too.

You never pay per user. Put every installer in the app; that's how the job timing and film numbers work.

What I'm asking.

This is a working relationship, not a signup.

  1. About an hour with me to set up your films, prices and zones.

  2. Your first real proposal out of SnapTip within two weeks.

  3. A twenty-minute call once a month for three months to tell me what's wrong with it.

That's the deal. You get the tool and the rate; I get a shop that actually uses it and tells me the truth.

Lock your rate.

30 days of everything, free. I set up your films, prices and zones with you in the first week.

30 days free. No card. Cancel from your settings.
